Beowulf Resources and Links

This is the official home page for the Duke University Physics Department's Brahma Beowulf Project. Please feel free to explore this website. There are a number of things on the site itself that may be of use or interest to individuals interested in beowulf-style cluster computing.

This site is maintained by rgb. It and all works linked thereupon authored by Robert G. Brown are Copyright 2003 (or as indicated in the document) and made available through a modified Open Publication License unless superceded by another license directly associated with the document. Beowulf Resources

The menubar entries above open pages with various kinds of resources of interest to a beowulf or cluster computer user, designer, administrator, or student. There is the world's only free (modified Gnu Open Publication License) online book on beowulf-style cluster engineering. There are images from talks and presentations used to introduce beowulfery to a variety of audiences over many years. There are locally developed and maintained beowulf management programs (some of them likely obsolete, but perhaps interesting as example source). There are crossreference links that lead to a variety of other cluster resource sites that we have found useful in the past.

Even with the best of efforts, some of the links on some of these pages may die over time along with the sites that they reference. Do not be horribly surprised, therefore, by dead links. Feel free to report them, however, so I can eventually kill them.
