Physics 566 Fall 2022
Computational Physics

Instructor: Prof. Kate Scholberg

Welcome to Physics 566!

This course aims to give advanced undergraduate and beginning graduate students a broad exposure to the main computational techniques used in modern physics. The course is designed such that a significant fraction of the students' homework is spent actually programming specific physical problems rather than learning abstract techniques. All programming will be done in Python, a modern scripting language used in a multitude of settings from data analysis to web servers. No advance knowledge of Python is required for the class. Material to be covered can be found here.
