Effective Field Theories and the Strong Interactions

Instead of a final exam, students will give a short presentation on a subject of contemporary physics research relevant to the material of this course. Topic of presentation must be approved by the instructor. These presentations will be given in class during the final exam period.

Problem Sets: 50%
Final Presentation: 50%

• Problem Sets will be every other week and you will be given two weeks to turn in assignment


• No Late Problem Sets will be accepted!


• You are encouraged to discuss the homework assignments with fellow students so that you can learn the subject from each other. However, the written part of the homework assignments must be done individually.


• Course webpage as well as email will be used to disseminate information on problem set corrections, class schedule,
  emergencies, etc.
