Lifshitz-Petrich Equation

This applet evolves the equation discussed in Section 5.2.5

The equation is a modified version of the Swift-Hohenberg model constructed to develop quasicrystalline patterns, cf. the discussion in Section 4.3. You can find out more about quasicrystals on the web site of Ron Lifshitz, who developed this model with Dean Petrich.
